Named after Grandpa Gene’s convertible

Gene Harlan sold curb cones out of a sky-blue Buick Skylark every summer Sunday. His granddaughter Maggie kept the recipe, lost the car, and opened the stand. The vanilla hasn’t changed since 1963. We checked with Gene.
